Bumble Bee Breathe with some Garlic Ginger Sauce

Today, I’m flying to Chicago for work so it’s been a hectic morning! Having spent the past two days in the mountains, I’ve had to gather my goods quickly and get dropped off early at the airport by Mr. Mike (thanks love!).

I’m leading with today’s pose as it’s so beneficial for pre-post flights. If anyone has sinus problems, or inner ear issues, or perhaps you’re getting over a cold (like me!), this pose is delicious. I plopped my suitcase down and bumbled it up at the Denver International airport. Were people staring? Maybe, but when does that ever stop me!? It shouldn’t ever stop you either – let you be you, wherever you go!

Bumble Bee Breathe
Bumble Bee Breathe

Sit in a comfortable position, with your tailbone straight, crown of your head to the ceiling. Put your thumbs in your ears, pointer fingers on your forehead, and let the other fingers gently cover your eyes.

Breathe here, for 5 deep breathes. Let the air circulate through your nasal passages and fill your lungs. Ahhhhh.

Ginger & Garlic Sauce

Good to top on sautéed veggies, use as a dressing, or use to marinate your tofu, this simple recipe combines a number of food gems that will aid in your digestion.

Ingredients
Fresh ginger, 4-5 slices
2 cloves of garlic, minced
3-4 tablespoons of Amino Acids
2-3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
A splash of sriracha sauce (if you like it spicey)
(Double the recipe for bigger meals or if you’d like to save some)

Combine all in a food processor or blender. You can always add a splash of coconut milk to make it a bit creamier. Enjoy!
